To Whom Does It Seem Difficult To Carry Out Rules Of Islam?

It is very easy not to commit a haram [1] and to carry out the rules of Islam. It seems difficult to the sick-hearted. Yes, there are many jobs that are easy for healthy people. Yet they are difficult to the sick. The sickness of the heart involves not believing in the Shari'at [2] entirely. Even if such people say that they believe, it is not a real confirmation. It is a confirmation through words. A symptom that indicates the existence of a real confirmation, true iman [3] in the heart, is to feel it easy to follow the path of the Shari'at.

[1] haram: an action, word or thought prohibited by Allahu ta'ala.
[2] Shari'at: (pl. of Shari'a) i) rules and commandments as a whole of the religion. ii) religion.
[3] iman: faith, belief, beliefs of Islam; kalam, i'tiqad.
